Home Groups
We currently have one fellowship group meeting in the daytime. During the autumn of 2023, this group has enlarged to meet in the parish hall to take part in The Bible Course.
Our group studies the bible and enables us to get to know a small group of people in more depth so we can support, pray and encourage each other in our faith.
Home groups are an excellent way of asking questions and thinking through God’s message to us in the Bible in a friendly and supportive environment. We hope to encourage more groups to meet in the future.

The Bible Course
We ran the Bible Course through the autumn of 2023 and plan to re-run this course on a regular basis.
The Romans Course
After our very successful Bible Course St Mary’s Willand are running The Romans Course. This 10 session video based course will again run on Wednesday mornings 10.30 – 12.00, (coffee from 10.15am) in Willand St Mary’s Parish Hall. There will be time to discuss and a 25 minute video set in the beauty of the eternal city, Rome, presented by Andrew Ollerton from Bible Society, tracing the outline and themes of Paul’s letter to Rome.
The course will run every other week but with one difference to that pattern with the first 2 weeks running a week apart. The dates to note are Wednesdays:
10th, 17th, 31st January, 14th, 28th February, 13th, 27th March, 10th, 24th April, 8th May. Paul Snell will guide us through our sessions.
Materials will be provided each week but it would help if we could have an idea of numbers so please email paul@thesnells.org.uk
Anyone is welcome – you don’t need to have attended the previous Bible Course. If you are unsure, why not come along and give it a try. Please also just come even if you haven’t emailed as there is always room. We look forward to welcoming you.
Coffee and Chat
Please feel free to drop in and join us for our monthly coffee morning. You will find us in the Church Hall, Rectory Close between 10.30am and 12pm on the second and fourth Friday of the month. A great place to meet some new people over a cuppa!
